What started as a humble family business has grown into a legacy carried forward through four generations, with the same values that were present from the very beginning - quality, honesty, traditional taste and polite behaviour.
The name RAM SWEETS is not just a name. It carries the legacy of our great-grandfather, Pradhan Lala Ram Kishor Gupta, whose dedication, simplicity and connection with people became the foundation of our family business.
His vision was simple - serve good food, treat every customer with respect and build relationships that last for generations. That philosophy became the foundation on which our family continued to build.
The name “RAM SWEETS” carries the legacy of our great-grandfather, whose dedication, simplicity and connection with people became the foundation of our family business.
The journey was carried forward by our grandfather, Lala Brajnandan Gupta, who continued the family tradition with the same dedication and commitment to quality.
The next chapter was written by our father, Lala Ram Autar Gupta, who worked tirelessly to strengthen the business and carry the family legacy forward.
But behind his journey stood someone whose contribution deserves equal respect - our mother and his life partner.
She made countless sacrifices, stood beside our father through difficult times, supported him through every challenge and became an important strength behind the growth of the business.
While the business was being built outside, she helped hold the family and the journey together from within.
Their partnership, sacrifices and dedication played a major role in taking Ram Sweets forward.Their journey reminds us that a family legacy is never built by one person alone. It is built through shared dreams, sacrifices, patience and the unwavering support of family.
After completing my journey in the IT industry and working in a completely different professional world, I made a decision that was deeply personal - I left my IT job to return to my roots and take forward the legacy of Ram Sweets.
It was not simply a career change. It was a decision to dedicate myself to something that has been a part of our family for generations.
Over the years, our famous samosa has become one of the tastes people associate with Ram Sweets.
Alongside it, we continue to preserve the charm of traditional Indian sweets and authentic flavours - the kind of food that reminds people of home, festivals, childhood memories and family celebrations.
For us, food is never just about filling a plate. It is about creating a taste that people remember.
The journey has never been easy.
We have faced criticism, challenges, difficult phases and countless struggles.
There were times when things did not go as planned. There were moments when we had to question ourselves, learn from our mistakes and start again.
